The Studio 4 lads have been training for a charity football match against Newport All-Stars over the last couple of months.
The match will take place at Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre on Sunday 19th November.
Newport All-Stars is a group of lads that all grew up together and now, in their late 30’s put together a football team. They have already played 7 games this season with 4 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. Matt Curbishley, The Manager of The Studio 4 plays for Newport All-Stars and they are always looking for a new team to pitch themselves against. Matt decided to put together a team from The Studio 4 to go against his old school friends and hopefully give them their toughest test yet.
We’ve also decided to donate all of the proceeds from the day to charity. Our chosen charity is Children in Need ,which is being held on Friday 17th November, 2 days before the big match. Children In Need support disadvantaged children and young people all across the UK. With our support, they are able to change almost half a million young lives across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland every single year.
Spectators are also welcome and kick-off as 2pm.
There will also be a raffle and a beat the keeper at half time.
