The Studio 4 look to create a “Stunning and Lasting Impression” at the Construction Marketing Awards

CMA AwardsWhat is it?

The construction marketing awards (CMA’s) “showcases the construction industry’s creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing”.

To enter the awards you have to be invited by an organisation within the UK Construction and Built Environment. These organisations comprise of Architects, Specialist Consultants, Contractors, Developers, Manufacturers and Specialist Suppliers.

Entries are submitted by a marketing team or individual that is responsible for a business development or marketing strategy, within the Construction and Built Environment. There are 23 categories that you can enter which include Agency of the Year, Best Product Launch, Best use of Advertising and Best Branding & Positioning.

Our Entry

The Studios entry for the CMAs is for the ‘Best use of Advertising’ for a product launched by flooring specialists Gerflor. The product being advertised was the Taralay Impression Control & Uni Collection, which is a new vinyl flooring product for 2018.

What is The Studio 4 doing about GDPR?

What is GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)?

This is a set of European Regulations which will change the way European Countries process personal data on both digital and paper documents. The regulation comes into force on the 25th May 2018 (This does not change because of Brexit).

The underlying principles of the GDPR are essentially similar to those as set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 (and related regulation).

Experiences, Opportunities and Benefits of working at The Studio 4

My first few months at The Studio 4 have been personally and professionally eye-opening. From my first experience in driving in heavy snow on my way to work, to working with brand-new clients across various sectors, there has been numerous occasions in my short time where The Studio 4 way of working differs to what I have experienced in previous roles.

As in almost any career, communication is key. Having originally come from a company with an extensive number of employees, constant communication with teammates was largely non-existent. The Studio 4 however is comprised of a relatively small team where communication is key and every member of the team needs to get involved to ensure that the projects handled are completed at the highest standard.
