Severn Trent Water recently re-awarded Steelway Brickhouse a new two year framework deal to design, manufacture and deliver all of their mild steel access cover and frame requirements used on waste water applications. The deal said to be worth over £1m is based around the new Steelway Brickhouse product range ‘Stamp-Lock’ which is suitable for all applications, such as pump, screen, valve and personnel access chambers. It is available both sealed and unsealed and can be used on both upstanding and flush fitting installations. Steelway Brickhouse has been supplying ‘wet-well’ application access covers to Severn Trent for the past five years. The new framework now covers all applications that require a steel access cover. The framework was awarded to Steelway Brickhouse following a process which included product investigations, site survey, on-site trials, technical capability and best value assessement. Steelway Brickhouse confirmed their commercial and technical capability to meet with Severn Trent’s specification and on-going obligations.
