Season’s Greetings from all at ADS. 2025 has been a busy year, with a host of product launches keeping us at the forefront of global stormwater management systems. Here’s a few highlights.

New Arcadia

Our new Arcadia Hydrodynamic Separator has market-leading performance, with proven removal efficiencies at higher flow rates in smaller footprints than the competition. Its compact design means it’s low maintenance and easy to install and, with no elevation loss between the inlet and outlet, and the variable angle configurations, it can often be integrated into both new and existing stormwater systems, without the need for extensive modification.

New Chambers

Giving even greater design and cost efficiencies, the ADS StormTech range has been updated. The SC-800 chamber holds more water than its predecessor and requires less embedment stone for installation. The corrugated design reduces the minimum cover depth to 381mm under HGV traffic and delivers a 7% smaller footprint for the same storage volume. Our modified SC-310 chamber has reduced row spacing to 75mm and reduced minimum cover depth to 405mm, meaning less embedment stone is required during installation - saving time and money.

New 'Green' and 'Grey' solutions

Policy documents from adopting bodies often recommend ‘green’ vegetative SuDS (e.g. ponds, swales), which can be effective where there’s space and pollutant loads are low, but may be compromised if not properly maintained. A hybrid approach including ‘grey’ infrastructure (proprietary systems such as ADS Stormtech) may provide a lower cost, higher performing and lower environmental impact solution – particularly for higher pollutant loads.

New Mitigation Indices

CIRIA’s SuDS Manual C753 shows how Mitigation Indices (MIs) can be used by designers to evaluate the effectiveness of stormwater components in removing pollutants from surface water runoff. With Isolator Row, ADS Stormtech is the only combined SuDS attenuation and water quality management system to have 3rd party verified MIs. The results demonstrate that StormTech has the capability to treat Medium Pollution Hazard applications without the need for additional SuDS components.
