The Design Process – Concept to Completion

As one of the designers at The Studio 4 I have had the opportunity to work on some really exciting projects over the past 12months, Including advertising campaigns for a leading flooring manufacturer and websites for some of our biggest clients. Producing artwork for projects like this is always a challenge, I’ve written this blog to give insight into how I tackle these briefs.

Every designer is different and there isn’t one single way of working. It all depends on what works best for you, the timescale and the project. The Studio 4 Charity Football Match

The Studio 4 lads have been training for a charity football match against Newport All-Stars over the last couple of months.

The match will take place at Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre on Sunday 19th November.

Newport All-Stars is a group of lads that all grew up together and now, in their late 30’s put together a football team. They have already played 7 games this season with 4 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. Matt Curbishley, The Manager of The Studio 4 plays for Newport All-Stars and they are always looking for a new team to pitch themselves against. Matt decided to put together a team from The Studio 4 to go against his old school friends and hopefully give them their toughest test yet.

8:40AM: Arrive in the office. A few people are around but all are beginning to arrive slowly but surely. I start by filling up my HydrateM8 (I latched onto this craze back in 2016) and check my emails for any unexpected surprises. It’s usually full of offers from publications intertwined with client requests.
